Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kesiapan untuk perubahan sebagai variabel mediasi. Fenomena yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya kinerja pegawai yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya kesiapan menghadapi perubahan serta kurang efektifnya penerapan gaya kepemimpinan di lingkungan birokrasi daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruh pegawai pada empat instansi, yaitu Dinas Sosial, Dinas Pertanian, Inspektorat, dan Dinas Perpustakaan, dengan total responden sebanyak 112 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kesiapan untuk perubahan. Variabel kesiapan untuk perubahan terbukti berperan sebagai mediator parsial dalam hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja pegawai. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran kepemimpinan transformasional dalam membangun kesiapan mental dan perilaku pegawai terhadap perubahan organisasi, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efektivitas dan produktivitas birokrasi daerah
